Carpet Plus uses a hot water extraction system. This
system is commonly referred to as "steam cleaning," which uses no abrasive brushes or harsh chemicals. Pressures, temperatures, and the pH of the cleaning agent are all carefully controlled. Research indicates that the hot water extraction system provides the best capability for cleaning. The process consists of applying a cleaning agent into
the carpet pile "separating the soil from the carpet fibers" and using "200°" hot water in the extractor to recover
the used solution and soil. This is done from our truck-mounted unit outside the home with only the hose
and wand brought inside the home. Carpets dry
quickly, stay cleaner, and last longer.

Carpet Plus uses a tested and proven carpet cleaning system, which will safely freshen and clean your carpet.
Absorbent Dry Compound:
This carpet cleaning method uses a dry compound which contains detergent and/or solvents. This compound is then sprinkled onto the carpet and worked into the pile using a machines or carpet rake. The soil particles are encapsulated in the absorbent dry compound and are removed by vacuuming. This carpet cleaning method is usually referred to as dry cleaning because it usually uses no water and dries almost instantly. Although this method can be effective for lightly soiled carpets, it is usually very difficult to remove large amounts of soil and deep down stains or spots. we feel that this type of cleaning is not recommended as the best way to maintain your carpets.
